Best performances in the history of the NFL Divisional Round

Brady had one of his biggest games in New England's 35-31 win against Baltimore. He was 33-of-50 for 367 yards and three touchdowns. The game that sparked the infamous Deflategate scandal took place the following week vs. Indianapolis.

The Colts didn't have much chance at Foxborough, and Blount cleaned up during garbage time. He had 24 carries for 166 yards and four touchdowns for the Patriots.

New England's third-down back found the end zone three times against the Texans in a 41-28 win. Vereen had seven carries for 41 yards and one score, along with five catches for 83 yards and two receiving touchdowns.

Wilson's legend was just beginning in Seattle as he fell short to the Falcons 30-28 on the road. He still had a huge day, completing 24-of-36 passes for 385 yards and two touchdowns, along with seven carries for 60 yards and one score.

Packers defensive coordinator Dom Capers was heavily criticized after 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick did whatever he wanted against Green Bay in a 45-31 win. He was 17-for-31 for 263 yards and two touchdowns, but he made an even bigger impact as a runner. Kaepernick rushed 16 times for 181 yards and two scores.

Perhaps the greatest playoff quarterback ever, Brady had a field day against the Broncos in a 45-10 win. He was 26-of-34 for 363 yards and six touchdown passes.

The Broncos couldn't find an answer for Gronk in a 45-10 loss. He had 10 receptions for 145 yards and three touchdowns.

Smith was more than a game manager in San Francisco's 36-32 win, a classic playoff game. He was 24-for-42 for 299 yards and three scores, adding a 28-yard touchdown scamper.

Brees has had to contend with poor defensive play for much of his career in New Orleans, and that was the case in a 36-32 loss to San Francisco. The future Hall of Fame quarterback was still 40-of-63 for 462 yards and four touchdowns.

Bears fans love to hate Cutler these days, but he has performed for them in the playoffs. His biggest game came against Seattle in a 35-24 win, as he was 15-of-28 for 274 yards and two touchdowns, adding eight carries for 43 yards and two scores on the ground.

Rodgers was nearly perfect in a 48-21 demolition of the Falcons. He completed 31-of-36 passes for 366 yards and three touchdowns, adding one score as a rusher.

Rice's best season culminated with a huge Divisional Round performance, with six receptions for 141 yards and three scores in a 34-3 win over Dallas.

Grant ran circles around the Seahawks in a 42-20 win at Lambeau Field. He had 27 carries for 201 yards and three touchdowns.

The Chargers entered the playoffs 14-2 but were upset by the Patriots 24-21 in head coach Marty Schottenheimer's final NFL game. Tomlinson still had a big day, rushing 23 times for 123 yards and two scores, adding two receptions for 64 yards.

Smith and the Panthers emerged victorious at Soldier Field. The wideout had 12 receptions for 218 yards and two touchdowns, as Carolina won 29-21.

Kansas City featured a lethal ground game in 2003 behind an incredible offensive line. Holmes was the beneficiary and rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-31 loss to Indianapolis.

The Greatest Show on Turf put up huge numbers regularly during the 1999 season behind quarterback Kurt Warner, and that continued into the playoffs. Warner was 27-of-33 for 391 yards and five touchdowns in the Rams' 49-37 win over Minnesota.

The Vikings and Rams had a track meet in the 2000 Divisional Round. Moss and the Vikings lost despite scoring 37 points. The wideout had nine receptions for 188 yards and two scores.

Denver's offense was led by Terrell Davis all the way up to the Super Bowl XXXIII victory. He had a huge Divisional Round, rushing 21 times for 199 yards and two scores.

Martin and the Patriots cruised over the Steelers 28-3 and eventually won the AFC Championship. Martin had 19 carries for 166 yards and three touchdowns.

It was a miserable day for the Giants' defense, as Watters and the 49ers dominated in a 44-3 rout. The San Francisco running back rushed 24 times for 118 yards and five touchdowns, adding five receptions for 46 yards.

In arguably the best running back performance ever seen in the playoffs, Dickerson had 34 carries for 248 yards and two touchdowns in a 20-0 victory for the Rams over Dallas.

The Cleveland curse continued in 1986, as the Browns lost at Miami 24-21 in the Divisional Round despite leading 21-3 in the third quarter. Byner still had a huge day, rushing 16 times for 161 yards and two touchdowns.

Thurman picked off Packers quarterback Lynn Dickey three times and ran back one of the interceptions for a 39-yard touchdown in the Cowboys' 37-26 win.

The Raiders edged Cincinnati 31-28, and Hendricks was the defensive star of the day for Oakland. The linebacker had four sacks of Bengals quarterback Ken Anderson.
