Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis was a guest Thursday morning on the NFL AM show on the NFL Network and he was asked if restricted free agent wide receiver Mike Wallace, who has yet to sign his one-year tender offer and report training camp, is playing hardball with the wrong team. • the thing that keeps getting lost in the Mike Wallace hold out talk is this fact. the Steeler's give Wallace the opportunity to play for a ring each and every year. He needs to think about that before he continue's to shoot himself in the foot. would he rather play in Pittsburgh for 5 to 9 Million a year and play for a ring each year or play for the Brown's for 10 to 15 million a year and never smell the Super Bowl other than buying a ticket. making 5 million a year and winning two or three rings would be something that he has a chance to do in a Steeler's Uniform. He needs to think about that before he forces the Steeler's to just give up on him as a distraction.
