Betts: 'I'm on the road to recovery'

Just got off the phone with running back Ladell Betts, who will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Dallas Cowboys at Cowboys Stadium. Betts is a hard worker and a consummate professional, and he had been playing extremely well in place of Clinton Portis, who has been sidelined because of lingering effects from a concussion.
