Well, it was a blue Christmas in New York. Rex Ryan had his fat mouth shut hard. It is already being heralded as one of the most difficult defeats of Ryan's tenure, as the big brothers of New York football toppled the perennial second-best 29-14 on Christmas Eve. If somehow you missed it, you missed a fantastic game. Without further ado, let's get right down to basics.

PLAYER OF THE GAME: The entire Giants defense. There were still some hiccups here and there and the tuck rule continues to rear its ugly head and demonstrate its idiocy, but overall the unit showed up and played hard for four quarters. JPP is a one-man wrecking crew, Webster and Phillips had picks, Jacquian Williams recovered a fumble and Chris Canty recorded a safety. Justin Tuck and Dave Tollefson also had sacks. Meanwhile, the Jets running game was shut down early and just like the Eagles game the week before, Rex Ryan's offense was jolted out of its comfort zone and resorted to the pass. And Sanchez is no Eli Manning. If this defense continues to show up, the Giants will be playing well into January.

RUNNER-UP: Ahmad Bradshaw. Most people probably thought I'd say Victor Cruz, but he's been so praised on this page, I figured it was somebody else's turn. Bradshaw carried the ball 15 times for 54 yards and most importantly scored two rushing touchdowns. The last clinched the game. After Canty's safety
