Bill Belichick was his usual self at the AFC coaches breakfast on Tuesday in Arizona, treating reporters to cliche answers and giving them very little to write about. He spoke about Wes Welker as if he were just another player who had come and gone. Belichick had very little to share when discussing the acquisition of safety Adrian Wilson or the team’s decision to retain cornerback Aqib Talib. However, Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe pointed out that the Patriots coach did give off the impression that he is a bit irritated with Rob Gronkowski. When asked about Gronk’s rehab, Belichick had the following to say. “With his rehab?” he asked. “I mean, again, I think every player has a process they go through to get ready for the offseason program and training camp. Every player, or most every player, has to deal with some aspect of it, including the normal things like conditioning, overall training relative to their physical abilities and their position.” Naturally, the conversat...

After the 2012 “Summer of Gronk,” perhaps the Patriots were not ready for the 2013 sequel — the “Winter of Gronk.” Bill Belichick did not seem happy when asked about Rob Gronkowski at the NFL’s winter meetings on Tuesday, according to Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe. Belichick was asked about the wrestling move Gronkowski performed on his friend while his arm...

According to Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe, while talking to Patriots head coach Bill Belehick today at the NFL owners meetings, he didn’t sound very happy about tight end Rob Gronkowski. this did come through loud and clear: Belichick is *not* happy with Gronk — shalise manza young (@shalisemyoung) March 19, 2013 Belichick isn’t happy with Gronk’s rehab since...

Bill Belichick sounds pretty pissed at Rob Gronkowski

Free Agency has taken over the NFL, meaning what's going on with New England Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski has been pretty quiet. However, when Bill Belichick stepped up to the plate to answer some questions in Phoenix, he was asked about Gronkowski, and it was a pretty standard affair at first. (Source) Question No. 1: “Do you feel Rob is on a good medical track...

NFL Head Coaches Take Weird Group Photo, But Bill Belichick and Sean Payton Are Mysteriously Missing (Photo)

Years from now, when your grandchildren’s grandchildren dig up this odd “2013 NFL Head Coach Class Photo,” they’ll wonder where the “Gate Guys” were hiding — as in Bill Belichick of Spygate and Sean Payton of Bountygate. OK, so Patriots fans’ great-great-great grandchildren will likely know of Belichick for much more than the “S word,” but you get the point....

Rob Gronkowski Gronk’d Out for His High School Yearbook

Always Gronkin’ Juan… Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski reportedly had a third surgery on his broken forearm a month ago, this time for an infection. It’s not expected to affect his recovery time, or his party time. Gronk has always stayed Gronking no matter what the situation. You know how the saying goes, once a Gronk, always a Gronk. Even back in the day he was Gronking...

Are Tom Brady and Bill Belichick both the best ever?

Tom Brady pretty much confirmed earlier this offseason that he'll never be the highest-paid player in NFL history, signing a team-friendly extension in order to ensure that Peyton Manning keeps pulling away in that category.  But maybe Brady was only doing so in order to be completely sure that he'll be able to keep teaming up with the greatest coach in NFL history for...

Robert Kraft Says Bill Belichick Is The Best Coach Ever, Tom Brady Is The Best QB Ever

The debate about who the best coach of all time and who the best quarterback of all time can be carried for hours.  The list of all time great coaches worthy of being the best ever may not be that long, but the debate about who the best quarterback of all time won’t be settled in one conversation that’s for sure. One man in particular thinks he has the best of both worlds.  Patriots...

16 over a 1? This may be the year

Some things just don't happen in sports. The Chicago Cubs don't win the World Series. Bill Belichick doesn't smile. The United States doesn't excel in international soccer. Dennis Rodman doesn't solve the world's diplomacy problems. Nick Saban doesn't lose national championship games. And 16-seeds don't beat 1-seeds in the NCAA tournament. Since...

Robert Kraft Believes Bill Belichick, Tom Brady Are Best Coach and Quarterback Ever

Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are the winning-est coach and quarterback tandem in NFL history, so calling them the best ever wouldn’t be much too much of a stretch. And that’s just what Robert Kraft did. Kraft, who along with Belichick is out at the NFL Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Ariz., this week, joined NBC Sports Pro Football Talk crew on Tuesday and let his feelings be known...

Robert Kraft: 'I don't answer to Tom Brady'

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is upset with Wes Welker's agents David Dunn and Brian Murphy of Athletes First for guiding him to the Denver Broncos. "Everyone in our organization

Adrian Wilson Knows Not to Send Bill Belichick’s Call to Voicemail, Says Patriots Were His First Choice

Adrian Wilson is new to the Patriots’ organization, but he’s already catching onto some of the team’s unwritten rules. Namely, phone calls. Soon after free agency began, Belichick gave Wilson a call to talk about the possibility of coming to New England and the All-Pro safety was wise enough to answer. “Whenever Coach [Bill] Belichick calls, you answer,” Wilson joked during...

Caption This Photo: 30 NFL Head Coaches Strike a Pose

Here’s a picture courtesy of the folks over at Deadspin, of 30 of the 32 coaches in the National Football League for the 2013 season looking really awkward and lacking in diversity. Only coaches missing are Sean Payton and unsurprisingly Bill Belichick.
