Bill Belichick doesn’t need validation. He already has that credit line. He also knows that he outlasted Bill Polian, a counterpart who always had the Patriots as a target. Furthermore, he knows he wouldn’t leave a team in shambles.

The Patriots rebuild on the fly. There isn’t room for a losing season. In 2008, Belichick lost Tom Brady in the first game of the year, but went on to post an 11-5 record. It was hailed as one of his many great coaching years.

The Patriots, up until that point were in the same boat as the Colts, if Brady goes down - look out below.

Could the Seahawks end up with Peyton Manning?

The Seahawks need a quarterback – one better than the T-Jack/Clipboard Jesus dynamic duo. Tarvaris Jackson and, to an extent, Charlie Whitehurst, were decent enough to keep Seattle in the playoff hunt for a little while. But the Seahawks need a QB with some “wow” factor, a real passing threat who would open up Marshawn Lynch’s running game even more. With Lynch on the ground...

Brady Wins AFC Offensive Player of the Month

Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees may be front runners for NFL MVP honors but Tom Brady's been no slouch this season. Rodgers led his team to a 15-1 record and Brees broke Dan Marino's 27-year-old single-season passing record, but Brady was the only AFC quarterback to throw for more than 5,000 yards. He also led the Pats to a 13-3 record, including eight in a row to end the regular...
