PLAYERS: Kyle Williams
TEAMS: Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills starting defensive tackle Kyle Williams has resumed practicing on a limited basis for the first time since having season-ending surgery to repair a nagging left foot injury in November. Williams took part in nearly half the team drills with the starters on Tuesday, when Buffalo opened its second week of voluntary practices. That's a step up for Williams, who participated in just a few snaps per team session last week. He's been told to ease himself back in after being cleared by both team doctors and specialist Robert Anderson, who performed the operation to remove bone spurs that were tearing at the player's Achilles tendon. Entering his seventh season in Buffalo, Williams was a 2010 Pro Bowl selection and has been the team's most consistent defensive lineman.

Buffalo Bills Potential Breakout Player of 2012: Kelvin Sheppard

The great thing about the NFL is that there are so many positions that every year, there is almost always at least one player who has a breakout year on every team, no matter how good or bad the team is. This is the first part in a 32 day segment detailing one potential breakout player for the 2012 NFL season on each NFL team. For the Buffalo Bills, that player is middle linebacker...

Bills QB Fitzpatrick getting crash course from Lee

Coming out of Harvard, Buffalo Bills starter Ryan Fitzpatrick is quick to acknowledge his Ivy League-educated limitations when it came to learning how to play quarterback. And despite having carved out a seven-year NFL career, Fitzpatrick will note that there's plenty to improve on what's essentially been his self-taught throwing style. That's where David Lee comes...

Gailey: Spiller's confidence 'through the roof'

Running back C.J. Spiller was thrown into the Bills' feature role when Fred Jackson was injured last season, and responded in a big way, finishing with 561 yards on 5.2 yards per carry while also catching 39 passes last season. After a disappointing rookie season, Spiller's emergence in 2011 has spilled into Buffalo's offseason program. "His confidence level...

Buffalo Bills: Most Overrated and Underrated Players

Valuing a player in the NFL can be tricky these days, as a single flashy season can sometimes lead a team to give an average baller a big time contract, while the more important pieces of a team's success can waste away in impoverished anonymity. It now seems routine to over- and under-value a player (I blame the Internet), both close to and far away from a team's base of...

#22: What if the Bills hadn't cut Drew Bledsoe?

Hasn't it gotten kind of predictable by now? The Bills are in the running for Mario Williams. The town goes bonkers at the notion of him riding into town on a white horse wearing shiny armour. Paul Peck and the courtroom reporters are covering the airport like Bill Clinton was coming to town. Pretty much the same thing went down when T.O. came to Buffalo. Can you imagine...
