The positive news just keeps coming in for the Buffalo Bills. After finding out that running back Fred Jackson was cleared to play against the Patriots, news has rolled out that will make Bills fans, and members of the Bills defense, even happier. Top offensive lineman Logan Mankins, who has been hampered by a hip injury that kept him oout of practice all week, did not make the trip to Buffalo, and is therefore out of tomorrow afternoon`s pivotal AFC East showdown. Tom Curran of CSNNewEngland.com was the first to report the news early Saturday evening. Buffalo enters Sunday`s contest trying to stay ahead of New England in the division while avoiding falling to 0-2 in the AFC East just four weeks into the season. If there is such a thing as a must win for a 2-1 team, this game is it. The post Bills Get Some More Good News Before Sunday`s Game appeared first on Queen City Sports.

Fred Jackson, C.J. Spiller questionable for Sunday

The Buffalo Bills have listed both Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller as questionable for Sunday’s showdown with the Patriots. “I think they both have a chance, a legitimate chance,” said Bills head coach Chan Gailey. If neither Jackson or Spiller plays, Tashard Choice would likely get the start.  He could still play even if only Jackson or Spiller is active.

Patriots facing tough challenge without Logan Mankins

Logan Mankins did not make the trip to Buffalo. New England Patriots (1-2) @ Buffalo Bills (2-1) 1 p.m. After three weeks, the Buffalo Bills have a better record than the Tom Brady-led Patriots. Patriots Re-Sign Matt Tennant, Could Mean No Logan Mankins on Sunday

If the Patriots are without Logan Mankins on Sunday, they could be in trouble against the Bills improved offensive line. The Patriots announced on Saturday the team has re-signed offensive lineman Matt Tennant, bringing their roster back up to 53 after releasing Kellen Winslow on Thursday. Tennant's previous tenure with the Patriots lasted just three days, getting signed on Sept...

Today is gonna get a little sketchy: buckle up.

So, we got news yesterday that Logan Mankins is going to be out, and of course we got Hernandez out as well. We are going to be dealing with a Connolly-Wendell-Thomas interior O-line against Marcell Dareus (2011 #3 overall pick) and Kyle Williams, two solid D tackles. Expect to see less Ridley and even more Woodhead shoved down our throats today. The reason for this of course, is...

NFL Rumors: Expect Bills To Sack Patriots QB Tom Brady Early And Often Without Logan Mankins

The New England Patriots are at their worst when Tom Brady is on the ground. The New York Giants have given the rest of the NFL the blueprint on how to beat New England by getting to Brady early and often.
