The Buffalo Bills have interviewed former Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt in Arizona. Bills president Russ Brandon, GM Buddy Nix, Assistant GM Doug Whaley and senior vice president of football administration Jim Overdorf all participated in the interview. Whaley and Whisenhunt used to work together with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Whaley spoke highly of Whisenhunt. We go way back. We won some Super Bowls together so I have high regard for his coaching acumen, Whaley said. Personally I know him and well see what happens. I know hes got a lot of opportunities. We havent decided. We still have to figure out what were going to do, but I can provide some insight on how he performed when I was with him. Whisenhunt was fired from his position as Cardinals head coach on Black Monday after six seasons with the team, where he posted a 45-51 record, and led the Cardinals to a Superbowl loss in 2008 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
