(Eds: APNewsNow. With AP Photos.) By JOHN WAWROW AP Sports Writer Buffalo Bills linebacker Nick Barnett doesn't need a crystal ball to guess what the Houston Texans will have in store for them this weekend. The Bills' near season-long struggle to stop the run means they'll be facing a heavy dose of Houston's Arian Foster-led ground attack. Knowing what's coming and stopping it, though, are two different things. Yet, Barnett remains confident the Bills (3-4) will be up to the test coming off their bye week and traveling to play at Houston (6-1) on Sunday. The Bills have allowed an NFL-worst 1,238 yards rushing so far this season. The AFC-leading Texans are also coming off their break, and feature Foster, who ranks fifth in the NFL with 659 yards rushing and leads the league with 10 touchdowns.

Now that he really has returned to form, Daniels has re-emerged as of the top tight ends in the NFL, and gives the Texans' powerful offense another...

NFL mid-season awards

It's the middle of the season, which means it's time hand out the major awards. Most Valuable Player: Matt Ryan -- Quarterback -- Atlanta Falcons History tells us that the MVP goes to the best player on the best team in the league. Makes sense, and there's no argument against that logic. Well, with that logic, let's look at the best team in the league: the Falcons...

Texans built for sustained success

Editor’s Note: When we contacted Barrett Walton about contributing to our pick segment last week we also asked what his thoughts were on how the Texans were sitting heading into the second half of the season. I think he warned me once previously, when he did a Q&A interview for us during the offseason, that brevity was not a strong suit. He gave us way more insight than we...
