If the Houston Texans can’t figure out a way to get a new deal done with soon-to-be free agent linebacker Mario Williams, the Buffalo Bills wouldn’t mind taking him off their hands, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. During Schefter’s weekly mailbag on ESPN.com,  he indicated that if Williams becomes a free agent,  the Bills would love to snatch him up. “There will be plenty of teams in play for Williams, who then might become the No. 1 free agent available,” wrote Schefter.  “Any team with a defensive need and salary-cap space would have to take a look. But let’s say this: Buffalo would love to have Williams. The questions are, does Williams want to be in Buffalo, and are the Bills willing to pay more than others? That’s tough to say at this point.” The Bills have never been a team to go out and break the bank for a guy like Williams,  but you never know.  It will be interesting to see what their approach is going into the offseason.
