Upon entering the league as a fifth-round pick in 2007, David Clowney has bounced around the NFL, with stops in New York, Carolina, and, currently, Buffalo.
He’s had a nondescript career, mostly as a practice squad-type receiver, hauling in just 22 total receptions.
Well, the 25-year-old finally made headlines — and it had absolutely nothing to do with football.
On Tuesday, Clowney fired off a tweet of his HIV test results, which, evidently, he received from his doctors Tuesday, and was unable to contain his excitement.
Got My HIV Results Back!! ???????????? Thank God for keeping my body healthy and safelockerz.com/s/211066558

In this world of Facebook Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and hundreds of other social networking platforms, over-sharing has become an epidemic. One wonders where exactly to draw the line between what to keep to yourself and what to tell your friends and followers. Well, for David Clowney, there apparently is no line, evident in his interesting decision to tweet a picture of his...
TOO MUCH INFORMATION
Bills wide receiver David Clowney felt it necessary to not only announce the results of his HIV test on Twitter, he even uploaded a photo documenting the test results.
A guy with only 8,800 Twitter followers is causing a HUGE blog-gasm by sports blogger dorks who probably never wrote a single post about David Clowney before today. Why is the Bills’ WR getting so much publicity this morning? He uploaded a pic of a recent negative HIV test. That’s it. Look, kudos to Clowney for not dipping his monster dong in the wrong broad, but this Twitter...
Buffalo Bills wide receiver David Clowney is a happy man, so much so that he tweeted the results of his HIV test, which he got back on Tuesday.According to his tweet photo, the results of the test came out to be negative -- THANK GOD.Clowney was a former Jets player, who was inconsistent on the Jets special teams, where he eventually got cut. It's unknown why he needed the HIV...
The Twitter overshare of the week: Bills receiver David Clowney posted the results of his HIV exam for all the world to see. Just putting it out there, potential David Clowney groupies. No hep or HIV here. Of course, getting tested is mandatory procedure when you’ve spent any extended amount of time around the Jets, as Clowney has. Too bad 5Chan didn’t think to hack the system...
Raise your hand if you remembered that David Clowney was still in the NFL. Okay, I figured it was none of you. Well, he is in fact still in the NFL and is actually on the Buffalo Bills roster. Things didn’t go too well for him last year, as he spent the entire 2011 season [...]
Fred Jackson of the Buffalo Bills is hard-working, determined and never gives up to achieve his goal. He is the ultimate underdog and the same can be said about the Buffalo Bills organization. The once proud franchise and winner of four consecutive AFC Championships continues to be determined to get back to their glory days. Fred Jackson is a key part of that equation.
There was a time when Shawne Merriman was one of the most feared pass rushers in the league. From 2005-2007, he had 39.5 sacks in 3 seasons and won Defensive Player of the Year. However, since then, he’s struggled mightily with injuries and has managed just 5 sacks. He appeared on the verge of a comeback last year after a strong preseason, but managed just 1 sack in 5 games before...
David Clowney, that every year 4th/5th string WR for a NFL team, of the Buffalo Bills, this offseason, made his couple hundred female followers in Buffalo find out that they could **** him without a condom. If a MLB player did this, then I'd be surprised. NFL/NBA athletes have free thumbs when it comes to tweeting the world their **** life stories. [Follow me @TravisHouser]
Defensive end Mario Williams has finally decided on what number he’ll wear as a member of the Buffalo Bills.
Williams wear number 94, which was worn by Kyle Moore in 2011. He posted a picture of his new Bills jersey on his Twitter feed earlier today.
Now Bills fans can rush to the store and blow $100 on a jersey.
Over the next couple summer months, this guy (I/me/BroJ) will be examining the recent Buffalo Bills’ rookie drafts under a microscope. I will be grading every pick and every Bills draft class of the last 15 years. Why 15 years, you ask? Well, in all honesty, that’s pretty much all I can remember. Although my knowledge of Bills history is slightly handicapped by age (full disclosure...
The Buffalo Bills have been the center of a lot of talk this offseason. Universally praised for their dedication to improving, they've focused on doing more of what made them the highest scoring offense in the NFL to start the season while addressing the the painfully obvious needs on the defensive side of the ball.
They brought in Mario Williams to shore up the pass rush (paying...
Toronto will be treated to five more years of Buffalo Bills games after the NFL‘s International Committee allowed the club to extend its agreement with Canada’s largest city. The Bills have committed to play one regular season game each year north of the border up until 2017 and it’s been reported that the tickets will go down in price by a significant margin.
Along with playing...
Mario Williams might move to the left side of the defensive formation in Buffalo, returning to his college position and joining the latest trend to bring pass rushers to that side of the formation.
