The Chargers have some catching up to do and not just on the field.
The team is behind in the box office, where about 10,000 general tickets remain unsold for Sunday's game against the Ravens, a team spokesman said Monday. The game will not be shown live on local television unless enough tickets are sold by Thursday's 1:05 p.m. deadline.
This would be San Diego's second blackout of the season and seventh in its past 21 home games, a regular-season period dating back to 2010 when a streak of 48 straight sellouts was snapped.
Corporate sponsors helped lift the blackout of the team's last home game, which came against the Chiefs on Nov. 1 and was nationally broadcast on the NFL Network. Source: San Diego Union Tribune Attached Thumbnails
