Even the prospect of Colts fans visiting from two hours away wasn’t enough to get a blackout lifted.
The team has said the inventory of tickets for Sunday’s game against Indianapolis is too much to sell in time. This is the seventh straight home game that will not be shown on television in Cincinnati, Dayton and Lexington, Ky. The Bengals now have the longest current blackout streak in the league at seven.
The team does have a four-pack promotion for Sunday’s game — four or more $65 tickets with $65 in Bengals Bucks to be used for food & drinks at concession stands.
For those looking ahead, the streak will probably end at seven. The next home game is on Nov. 13 against Pittsburgh. The bigger question though is which game at Paul Brown Stadium will draw more fans — UC vs. UofL on Saturday or Bengals vs. Colts on Sunday?
