Owner Bob McNair said he wants the Texans to play in a regular-season game in the United Kingdom but only as the visiting team. After selling out every game at Reliant Stadium in team history, McNair doesn't want to give up a home game to play in London. On the last day of the NFL fall meetings at the Intercontinental Hotel, the owners voted to continue playing games in the United Kingdom through the 2016 season and commissioner Roger Goodell said that beginning in 2012, the league plans to play two regular-season games in the United Kingdom, and all the games might not be played in London. "Yes, we would have interest in that," McNair said. "We would have interest as the visiting team. It would be difficult for us as the home team. Our fans want to see us at home. They've been very supportive, and I'd be reluctant to do that." McNair might change his thinking about giving up a home game if the NFL expands its schedule beyond 16 games. "I wouldn't completely rule it out if the length of the season changed and we had an extra game or (two)," McNair said. "Then that might be something we'd consider."
