Looks like it's time to see how one of the worst teams of 2011 will do this season!

BOLD PREDICTIONS FOR THE ST. LOUIS RAMS (that will definitely come true)!

THE RAMS GO 0-6 IN THE NFC WEST

Wait a minute, this happened last year and isn’t a “bold prediction” at all!  Oh well, on to our next prediction.

CHRIS LONG LEADS THE NFL IN SACKS

In 2008, Chris Long had four sacks.  In 2009, he had five sacks.  In 2010, he had 8.5 sacks.  And, in 2011, he had 13 sacks.  See the pattern?

The Rams’ D will spend a lot of time on the field in 2012, and Howie’s son racks up 20 sacks, which is one more than Jason Pierre-Paul has for the season.

STEVEN JACKSON GETS HURT, FINISHES WITH LESS THAN 600 YARDS RUSHING

In 2010, S-Jax had 330 carries, second in the league (behind Michael Turner who had 334).  The year prior, despite missing a game, he had 324 carries, third most in the NFL.  So, it really wasn’t much of a surprise that Jackson got hurt at the start of the 2011 Season.  And, it won’t be too much of a shocker when Jackson (who turns 29 in July) gets injured again next season in a Brian Schottenheimer offense that’ll have him running the ball twenty-five times a game.

CADILLAC WILLIAMS HAS 800+ YARDS ON THE GROUND

With Jackson out, Cadillac Williams steps in and steps up.  Williams, who averaged over four yards per carry for the first time since 2005 last season, gets plenty of carries and, though he only has three TDs, rushes for just over 800 yards.

SAM BRADFORD IS BENCHED

Bradford stunk for ten games before an injury ended his 2011 season.  For the year, he had a lower completion percentage than Curtis Painter and John Skelton and a lower QB rating than Rex Grossman and Tim Tebow.  Yikes!

Bradford’s poor play actually goes back into the 2010 NFL Season; over the last five games of that season, he had one touchdown and six interceptions.  The former #1 pick hasn’t had a game with multiple TD passes since November 28, 2010.

Unfortunately for Bradford fans, 2012 brings more of the same and, after eight poor games from Bradford and a 0-8 start to the season, Bradford makes his way to the bench.

BRANDON LLOYD STOPS TRYING, SPENDS TIME RAPPING

Lloyd pulls a Randy Moss after finally getting tired of being stuck on such a bad team.  He still suits up every Sunday, but B. Lloyd spends the majority of his time pursuing his rap career.  (After listening to some of his songs, I can safely say that I would rather listen to him rap than watch a St. Louis Rams’ game.)

RAMS GO WINLESS AGAINST THE AFC EAST, NFC NORTH; FINISH 2-14…AGAIN

In the end, the Rams only manage two victories for the second year in a row, both coming against 2011 NFC last place finishers, the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Bucs.
