Kyle Boller will start at quarterback Sunday for the Oakland Raiders, who will give newly acquired Carson Palmer some playing time, Fox Sports reported Sunday. Both Boller and Palmer took first-team practice reps this week, as did third-string rookie quarterback Terrelle Pryor in advance of this weekend's game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders lost starter Jason Campbell to a broken collarbone last week and beat the trading deadline in dealing a pair of high draft picks to the Cincinnati Bengals to Palmer, who had not played or practiced since December. It was a whirlwind week for Palmer, who met the media, began absorbing the playbook and renegotiated his contract. He was thought to be inserted as the starter, although coach Hue Jackson refused to reveal his decision. Boller relieved Campbell last week and completed 8-of-14 passes for 100 yards in a win over Cleveland. He is a nine-year veteran who hasn't started a game since 2009 with St. Louis.
