With a quarter of the season still to play, everything is pointing toward the free-falling San Diego Chargers having their first losing record in Norv Turner's six years as head coach.
All but mathematically eliminated from the playoffs for the third straight season, odds are pretty good the Chargers (4-8) will clinch a losing record Sunday. They play at Pittsburgh, where they're 0-14 in regular-season games, and the Steelers (7-5) have beaten both the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals.
The Chargers are coming off home losses to the Ravens and Bengals in which they blew fourth-quarter leads. They can't run the ball and Philip Rivers had two more crucial turnovers in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Bengals.

Along with his team, Ryan Mathews of the always underachieving San Diego Chargers has not lived up to his expectations yet again. Every year experts talk about all the talent that the Chargers have on both sides of the ball, but they under perform every season. Every year Mathews seems to be a guy most fantasy football gurus have in the top twenty for running backs. Most years, either...
How do fans get kicked out of NFL games? You have to be a complete drunken moron. So let’s figure out why Nick Lachey was ejected from Sunday’s Chargers-Bengals game. He must’ve been a drunken moron who couldn’t just sit in his seat and be a quiet drunk.
Lachey is speaking out today about what happened yesterday at Jack Murphy, where his hometown Bengals buried Norv Turner’s...
When I was growing up in LA, we had two teams for every sports. Then, by the mid 90′s that was over as both the Raiders and the Rams moved away. With basketball being my first love, I didn’t really pay close attention to it. But lately as I’ve been reconnecting with football, it occured [...]
Noted Bengals fan, singer, show host and famous former-newlywed Nick Lachey was removed from the Cincinnati Bengals-San Diego Chargers game Sunday afternoon before he could see his beloved brown and orange stripes benefit from another resounding Charger failure on the field.
His crime? Being a celebrity and being a Bengals fan seating by a Chargers fan noted for giving other...

The 2012 season is all but over in the AFC West as Denver is currently 9-3 and has already clinched the division title, while Kansas City is 2-12, San Diego is 4-8, and Oakland is 3-9. The one thing that is certain about the 2012 season is that as long as Peyton Manning is around, the Broncos are going to be the top dog in the division. Therefore, if teams are going to compete in...
