Boston Scott's dominance against the Giants continues in Eagles 48-22 rout

On Sunday, Philadelphia Eagles routed the New York Giants, 48-22 , and running back Boston Scott continued his reign of terror against the NFC East rival.

Scott rushed for 33 yards and improved his touchdown streak against the G-Men to four games.

The 27-year-old also impacted the game on special teams, finishing with 117 yards off three kick return attempts, including a 66-yarder, which led to an Eagles' field goal late in the first half.

Scott has carved out a valuable position for himself within the Eagles' running back rotation in his five seasons with the team.

But, if an alternate universe existed where the Eagles and Giants played every week, Scott's career would be on a Hall of Fame trajectory.

Following Sunday's performance, Scott has scored nine of his 16 career touchdowns against the Giants.

Over seven meetings, Scott has rushed for 360 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 17 catches for 218 yards and a touchdown through the air.

Drafted in the sixth round by the New Orleans Saints in 2016, Scott joined the Eagles in 2018 after being released.

Seeing action in 11 games this season, Scott has recorded 157 rushing yards and two touchdowns off 43 attempts, with five catches for 15 yards.

Scott and the Eagles improved to 12-1 after Sunday's win, clinching a playoff berth in the NFC.
