After watching the game live on the California broadcast, I decided to see the game from the other side of the fence, with the Cowboys station doing the play by play. It was an interesting view, one that lacked a bit of knowledge. It seems that Jim-Bob and Billy-Bob, both ranking hicks of Dallas fame had plenty to talk about the Cowboys, but seemed to enjoy the fact that the Raiders had a number of draft picks leave Oakland, but have a habit of picking up former first round picks, like Kyle Boller and Michael Bennett, in camp this year.
I shouldn’t worry too much to the effect, it was amusing that they failed to acknowledge that Rolando McClain was doing a good job in stopping the run, or that Lamarr Houston owned Tony Romo during the game. It does cause some to wonder….was Oakland truly this good, or is Dallas simply inept at getting into the end zone with their offense?
