Baltimore Sun:
Ravens safety Ed Reed said New England quarterback Tom Brady looks like the old Tom Brady, but he might not regain top form until next season. It usually takes two years for a player to fully recover from the type of extensive knee injury Brady suffered last season.
Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer suffered a major knee injury in a 2006 playoff game, and he hasn't played as well since even though he looked fine against the Steelers Sunday. Palmer has put up impressive numbers the past two seasons, but his passes seemed to float, and sail a lot.
The Patriots have only scored two touchdowns in 10 trips inside the red zone in three games this season. They scored only one touchdown in five trips inside the red zone last week against the Falcons. Brady can't be blamed for all those problems, but he sure looks rusty.
