Found March 11, 2014 on State of the Texans:
Texans didn’t make qualifying offers to RFAs OLB Bryan Braman, DE Terrell McClain and WR Lestar Jean. They’re now free agents. — John McClain (@McClain_on_NFL) March 12, 2014 The Houston Texans have not tendered restricted free agents Bryan Braman, Terrell McClain and Lestar Jean making them unrestricted free agents. This opens the door for all three of them to look for other teams in 2014 and ends their tenure with the Texans. Braman played outside linebacker for the Texans and was considered a special teams ace for the team. His play declined the past few seasons and never really contributed on defense and struggled on special teams this past season. The move comes as little surprise heading into next season with the emergence of Justin Tuggle who led the team in special teams tackles.. Lestar Jean Jean was considered a diamond in the rough when he was added as a free agent in 2011 and totaled 6 receptions and 151 yards with a touchdown the past two seasons. He never caught on as a wide receiver with the team and the team investing a first round pick on DeAndre Hopkins in 2013, the end was near. McClain was a late addition in 2012 and made it out of training camp. He was the back up nose tackle in 2013 and played very little for the Texans. He appeared in 19 games in two seasons for the Texans and had 10 total tackles. You can follow Patrick on Twitter.  He is the Editor of State of the Texans.

Earlier today, Cover32 released their landing page for the free agent recap. The page shows the top 10 players available at each position. However, there are still some free agents...

Houston Texans have no consensus choice for 1st pick

Highlighted by a 14-game losing streak, the Houston Texans 2013 season was one to quickly forget. No matter the NFL Mock Draft, experts have no consensus choice for the Texans 1st pick in the NFL draft. Quarterback would be an obvious selection after Matt Schaub, T.J. Yates, and Case Keenum failed to impress but many believe there will still be a quarterback available for them to...

ESPN's Adam Schefter reporting free...

Dolphins bring in DT Earl Mitchell while Big Paul heads to Atl

The Dolphins continued to fill holes by adding Defensive Tackle Earl Mitchell to a 4 year $16 million deal ($9 million guaranteed). With Soliai and Starks moving on from the Dolphins, the signing of Mitchell makes sense.
