Brandon Banks was noticeably slower durng the second half of last season after undergoing midseason arthroscopic knee surgery. He returned to the field quickly after surgery but didn’t have the same impact in games. To make the roster, the wide receiver and kick returner will have to show coaches that he’s recovered his pre-injury speed.
“I think he’s healthy right now. His knee is healthy,” said receivers coach Keenan McCardell. “He’s coming back. You could see the suddenness, you could see the speed. A lot of people kind of forgot how fast he was because he was playing banged up last year.”
