Bill Belichick (via Silverman’s Best: Patriots vs. Seahawks - 10/14/2012)
The New England Patriots and New York Giants have more in common than just playing each other in exciting Super Bowls. They also have a knack at getting bit by the injury bug and having key players wind up on the weekly NFL Injury Report. For Week 6 of the 2012 NFL season, things are no different, as Aaron Hernandez, Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks are all game time decisions, but are...

Through five games, the New England Patriots led the league in points per game with 33.0 and yards per game at 439.4. But the way New England gained those yards was different than in recent years. The Patriots were ninth in passing yardage with 274.0 yards per game, down from second in 2011 with 317.8 yards per game. But the Patriots were third in rushing yardage with 165.4 yards...
The Seattle Seahawks pulled off an upset victory of the Patriots on Sunday, beating them 24-23. Seahawks cornerback, Richard Sherman tweeted a message out to the Pats superstar Tom Brady following the game. Seems as if the QB was trash talking Sherman and safety Earl Thomas before the game. First, there was this: But that [...]
How are we all feeling this Monday? Stupid question. Every New England Patriots fan is feeling pretty pissed right now. After a very promising 2 game win streak, we've been rocked by this defeat to the Seattle Seahawks. I came out of last weeks win vs the Denver Broncos uneasy due to our 4th quarter struggles. This resurfaced during the whole second half. This was not the Patriots...
Russell Wilson found Sidney Rice behind the secondary for a
46-yard touchdown with 1:18 remaining, and the Seattle Seahawks
rallied for 14 points in the final 7:31 to stun the New England
Patriots 24-23 Sunday.
This isn't going to be an easy win. On offense, the Patriots have scored more points than any other team in the league, and they're in the top ten in passing and rushing yardage, although it's primarily the threat of their passing attack that's kept their run game effective. The Seahawks have a top five defensive unit, but if they want to be known as one of the...
