Running back Brandon Jacobs is a verbal lightning rod. He always has been and he always will be.
The San Francisco 49ers had to know the product that they were purchasing when they imported him into their roster.
They suspended him on Monday without pay for the final three games of the season after he very publicly expressed his displeasure with the team.

The 49ers have suspended Brandon Jacobs for the remainder of the season. Jacobs will no longer be active for the 49ers. He will no longer receive a paycheck for the time he is suspended.
