San Francisco 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs is mad. He's not getting enough playing time with the team and he's sick of all the criticism he gets for voicing his opinion.
“I don’t understand why people are angry at me because I wanna do what I am paid to do," Jacobs wrote on Twitter. "I am a competitive person, I think people should be mad if I didn’t wanna play, but I forgot the people that’s pissed they don’t have a athletic bone and their body,”
After posting a photo of himself celebrated his Super Bowl victory with the Giants last year on instagram, some fans questioned where his 49ers pics werew.
"As for all of my Instagram photos I don't have any niner pics, if you'll find me some pics I'll put them up."
“I am on this team rotting away so why would I wanna put any pics up of anything that say niners this is by far the worst year I ever had, I’ll tell you like I told plenty others,”

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith hit the record books Sunday. His first sack against the Miami Dolphins set the 49ers all time sacks record (formerly occupied by Hall of Fame DE Fred Dean). Then he had one more sack. Aldon leads the NFL with 19 1/2 sacks on the season. I also puts him 3 1/2 sacks behind former New York Giants DE Michael Strahan NFL record for most...
San Francisco 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs didn’t imagine that he’d be riding the bench this season when he signed on with the 49ers as a free agent this past offseason, after a successful career with the Giants.

Running back Frank Gore and cornerback Tarell Brown took a little time off to heal nagging injuries this week, but both are expected to play when the San Francisco 49ers host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Gore is nursing a wrist problem, while Brown's hamstring has been problematic.
Both players said they will be ready to go and 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed that he expects...
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Frank Gore, Colin Kaepernick and Michael Crabtree pulled off the kind of grind-it-out win Jim Harbaugh wants to see during the December stretch run.
Gore ran for a 1-yard touchdown and reached 1,000 yards rushing for the sixth time in his career, and the San Francisco 49ers beat the Miami Dolphins 27-13 on Sunday.
Gore finished with 63 yards, Anthony Dixon...
Frank Gore made his way through San Francisco's winning locker room and offered a public shoutout to linebacker and NFL sacks leader Aldon Smith.
''Couple more, baby! Couple more, baby!'' Gore hollered.
Gore is taking charge on the 49ers offense, with Smith wreaking havoc on opposing quarterbacks for the defense.
Gore ran for a 1-yard touchdown and reached...
Miami Dolphins (5-7) at San Francisco 49ers (8-3)
The 49ers lost to the Rams last week in St. Louis, which has gotten a lot of Alex Smith supporters saying “I told you so,” questioning Jim Harbaugh’s decision to bench Alex Smith for Colin Kaepernick. These people seem to be forgetting that Smith was losing to those same Rams at home when he got hurt and that he also lost to...
Yeah, that would be how to rub it in.
Frank Gore notched his sixth season with 1,000 or more rushing yards Sunday, and he also piled up 63 yards rushing and 22 yards receiving plus a touchdown to lead the 49ers past the Dolphins 27-13.
But if he and his team’s dominance weren’t conveyed well enough by his stat line and the scoreboard, Gore’s getup after the game certainly told...
SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco 49ers were clinging to a 20-13 lead late in the fourth quarter Sunday against Miami when they called a read-option run, a play quarterback Colin Kaepernick could run in his sleep. Kaepernick, who rushed for 4,112 yards and 59 touchdowns in college for Nevada, faked a handoff on third-and-five to running back Frank Gore, pulled the ball back and...
The NFL’s number two rushing offense entered the game debuting a new back up and an off-season beast of an acquisition “rotting away.” As much as any team would want to give Frank Gore the rock for 25 to 30 carries a game, the San Francisco 49ers understand how much they need their workhorse down the back stretch of the 2012 season. With backups Kendall Hunter on IR and Brandon...
