So Brandon Jacobs threw his helmet into the stands Sunday night in Indianapolis, by accident.  He meant to throw it at the bench, where we’re assuming none of his teammates were sitting.  The NFL fined him $10,000 the other day, and we know he got an earful from Tom Coughlin Sunday–and then Coughlin didn’t allow Jacobs back into the game. Yesterday, Jacobs addressed the media by saying that he knows he was wrong, and he apologized for that incident as well as for being a ******* to reporters over the last little while.  Check out this quote: “I’ve been in a state of mind where I hated all you guys, and I apologize to each and every one of you for acting the way I’ve been acting the last month or so.” Wow, hate is a strong word.  But Jacobs has clearly been very bitter ever since Coughlin handed the starting RB job to Ahmad Bradshaw (who clearly deserves it, by the way).  But Jacobs apologized and wants to move on.  In fact, he said he wanted to put it b...
