Looks like Randy Moss is leaving quite the impression on his teammates and the coaching staff in San Francisco. Jim Harbaugh said last week that he thinks Moss is their best receiver, and now fellow new-49er Brandon Jacobs thinks that the Moss of old is back and it will show once the season starts.

Jacobs was on 'Rome' , telling Jim Rome that Moss has been telling teameveryone mates that they’re going to be very pleased with him this year.

“His motivation level is high,” Jacobs said. “I think Moss has a chip on his shoulder. I’ve spoken to him a lot, and he starts off everything with, ‘Just wait.’ He’s got a chip on his shoulder, he’s ready to go out there and show everybody that he can play still.”

Moss,35, singed a one=year deal with the 49ers after not playing in theleague last year.

  • Randy, just play your best football! There's no need to expound that "chip on your shoulder" as mentioned. You will make some of the NFL teams that passed on your return upset for not picking you to perform with the great athletic ability that you've shown throughout your career!

Randy Moss: Can he be the difference for 49ers?

For a guy who’s played in only 16 games over the last two years, with a total of 28 catches, Randy Moss is generating an awful lot of publicity for the San Francisco 49ers and the NFL in general. Will he be the answer to San Francisco’s anemic passing game, or will he become Alex [...]

Moss could be missing piece that completes 49ers' offense

The New Regime under Coach Joe Philbin

13-3...that was the amazing turnaround that one San Francisco Bay Area team had under a new regime with Jim Harbaugh and his sidekick from college Vic Fangio.  Fast forward to offseason 2012, when things were looking pretty bleak for the Miami Dolphins despite the new coaching change and promise of an NFL experienced staff with Coach Mike Sherman and Coach Kevin Coyle; and not...

Sean Payton & Harbaugh Brothers On An Exclusive List

As Jim Harbaugh's miraculous run with San Francisco came to a sudden finish, I was left thinking how his rookie campaign as head coach compared to the greats throughout history.  13-3 and an NFC Championship game appearance must count for something, but was it the greatest head coaching debut of all time? How did other rookie head coaches fare throughout history? For such...

Today's elite receivers just doing their jobs

For a few years, the best three receivers in the NFL were also associated with locker room problems, and receivers in general were looked at as selfish players. Today, Randy Moss is amidst his going away tour with the San Francisco 49ers, Chad Ochocinco has moved on to Miami, and the king of locker room problems, Terrell Owens, is currently out of the NFL and looking for a way...
