When the St. Louis Rams acquired wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, it was unclear whether they would be able to retain him beyond this season. Lloyd, who is 30 years old, will be a free agent at the end of the year and will be free to go wherever he chooses. If Lloyd has his way, he will go wherever Rams offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels ends up. Lloyd says that he knows being with McDaniels is best for his career.
