ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Marshall is “upset” with way the Bears have handled his injured hip. Marshall told reporters on Tuesday that he’s not as far along as he’d hoped he would be following an offseason hip surgery. “So yeah, I’m not where I want to be right now,” said Marshall, via the Chicago Sun-Times. “It’s a little frustrating. But we’ll see. … Some people might think I need to be farther on than where I am, so it’s a little frustrating not being where I want to be right now and maybe being pushed a little bit.” Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that Bears WR Brandon Marshall will take a four-day leave of absence from the team for ”personal reasons.” “I’d rather just leave it to personal reasons out of respect to Brandon,” said Bears’ HC Marc Trestman said. “But it’s all good. As I have said, when I let guys go for personal reasons, it’s all good. It’s not reflective of anything other than I gave him time off. He will be back on Sunday.” Marshall underwent arthroscopic hip surgery back in January, which happens to be the third procedure performed on his hip. At this point, it’s clear that Marshall isn’t happy about his hip, which suggests that it’s still giving him problems nearly eight months after his surgery. It should also be noted that the Bears used the “personal reasons” explanation last year when LB Brian Urlacher left training camp to have another treatment on his troublesome knee, A recent report from Adam Schefter indicated that the Bears are considering trading Earl Bennett, which is an indication that they’re comfortable with their current receiving corps. For the time being, it appears as though second-year WR Alshon Jeffery and TE Martellus Bennett will fact heavily into the team’s offensive attack this season. We’ll have more news on the story as it’s made available.   The post Brandon Marshall “Upset” That Bears Haven’t Taken His Hip Injury Seriously appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
