After spending four seasons with the Oakland Raiders, tight end Brandon Myers had to make some major adjustments when he signed with the New York Giants. In only his first season with Big Blue, Myers is soaking it all up in advance of Saturday's preseason opener.

According to Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger, Giants quarterback Eli Manning has looked very good throwing the football to tight end Brandon Myers.
Brandon Myers seems to be the perfect fit for Eli Manning. The two have been connecting on some long passes, but during the goal line drill it’s easy to see the understanding they’ve developed already.

Last season the Raiders were the kings of the garbage time world. Every week they would be down by 2-3 scores by half and it was time to throw, throw, and throw some more. Myers was a major benefactor of that garbage time and put up nice stats as he finished with 79 receptions for 806 yards last season for Oakland, the fourth-most catches in the league by a tight end.
Tiki Barber said Tom Coughlin once threw a bunch of newspapers in his face and he responded by cursing at him repeatedly. See more details of their relationship.
The rap duo of Peyton and Eli Manning will not be releasing any additional hits.
After the Manning brothers dropped “Football on your phone” this week players across the league had the tune stuck in their head but there will be no follow ups.
“I think I will stay with my day job and keep playing football for long as possible,” Eli said, via the AP. “A one and done. A one...
Like many Giants fans, when I saw the tweet last year that Terrell Thomas was out for the 2012 season with an ACL injury in the first week of preseason, my heart sank. Even a tear welled up as one is now just thinking about it. The Giants losing their top cornerback was hard enough, but it happening to the same guy for the second year in a row was a heart breaker.
The New York Giants have always been known for their defense, and a few seasons back they had one of the best in the league. With their defensive line helping to lead them on two Super Bowl runs. Jason Pierre-Paul understands the expectations laid out for him.
The back surgery which took place on June 4 carried a 12-week recovery timetable. Theoretically he should be ready for the start of the season.
His general manager Jerry Reese said that the team was hopeful Pierre-Paul could go Week 1.
“JP’s on schedule. He’s looking good he’s running around a little bit...
“You really can’t play unless you can protect the quarterback,” Coughlin said today. Well gone is the best pass blocking RB they had in Ahmad Bradshaw, so the battle will be between the electric David Wilson and the bruising Andre Brown. Here is how the Giants RB faired last season courtesy of ProFootballFocus:
Andre Brown as easily better than David Wilson last season...
Those who know me know that my general philosophy on life is that anything can happen to anyone once. We've all been there - car accident, lost wallet, etc. But when something happens twice, it is usually not a coincidence which is why I cannot stand it when fans of other teams try to paint Eli Manning, Tom Coughlin and the New York Giants as getting lucky in both of their Super...
A day after DIRECTV debuted Eli and Peyton Manning's rap video commercial, the New York Giants quarterback and his wife Abby had their new baby daughter's first photos published.
Eli — more than anyone —knows being the younger sibling to a star isn't easy, so when Abby took little Lucy Thomas Manning for a stroll around their Hoboken, N.J. neighborhood with her older...
New York Giants rookie QB Ryan Nassib will have to learn how to handle in his first year in the NFL. Thanks to some help from veteran signal-caller David Carr, the former Syracuse standout is already ahead of the curve.
The New York Giants tight end position battle is one of the most compelling to watch unfold this summer. Bear Pascoe is slated behind likely starter Brandon Myers, but is preparing to play wherever Big Blue needs him.
As the New York Giants prepare to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Saturday night's preseason opener, no player is more excited to toe the field than rookie quarterback Ryan Nassib. Find out what the former Syracuse standout had to say on the eve of his pro debut.
New York Giants defensive back Terrell Thomas found motivation in different places while rehabbing his knee injury. Now, his goal is to return at full strength for week one against the Dallas Cowboys.
