Fantasy Football Champs:
Oakland tight end Brandon Myers has passed his concussion tests and should be ready to play Sunday against New Orleans according to the Contra Costa Times.Fantasy Spin:Myers has emerged as one of quarterback Carson Palmer's favorite targets this season with 44 catches in nine games. Teams have been shredding the Saints' defense all season so as long as Myers doesn't suffer any setbacks, he should be in for a big fantasy day.

An all-time franchise record for points allowed tied at 55, a 35-point deficit loss, 3 touchdowns and 1 field goal conceded in just two quarters… The Oakland Raiders defense certainly didn’t have anything close to a good game last Sunday, but the offense wasn’t much better either. Let’s see what the Silver&Black Attack brough to the table against the Ravens [...]
Dennis Allen is the 18th head coach for the Oakland Raiders, but in his first year, his 3-6 team is struggling. However, before he landed in Oakland, and prior to Allen being with the Denver Broncos in 2011, he learned his trade in New Orleans as a defensive backs coach.
Allen sat down with the Jerry McDonald of the San Jose Mercury News to talk about his time in New Orleans.
The Oakland Raiders have signed linebacker Omar Gaither and placed linebacker Travis Goethel on season-ending injured reserve.
The team announced the move Wednesday to add depth after Goethel tore the ACL in his left knee in last week's loss in Baltimore.
Gaither has played in 77 games with 40 starts over six combined seasons with Philadelphia and Carolina. He spent training...
Raiders receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey (hamstring) is a game-time decision for Sunday. SOURCE: Jerry McDonald, Oakland TribuneFantasy Spin:Heyward-Bey injured his right hamstring in Wednesday's practice. His game is speed-based so even if he does play he'll likely be extremely limited. Rod Streater and Derek Hagan are the next guys up.
The Raiders were faced with the possibility Thursday of being without one of their most dependable and durable defenders as strong safety Tyvon Branch missed practice for the second straight day because of a neck injury.
Branch, the Raiders' second-leading tackler, has started 57 consecutive games after missing the second half of his rookie season because of shoulder surgery...
Raiders running back Darren McFadden will miss a second consecutive game when the team hosts the New Orleans Saints this coming Sunday.
McFadden reportedly suffered a high ankle sprain during the first half of Oakland's Nov. 4 matchup with Tampa Bay and was inactive for last Sunday's loss at Baltimore.
Backup Mike Goodson, also dealing with a sprained ankle, was also...

The Oakland Raiders backfield has been struck by the injury bug. RB Darren McFadden (ankle) will likely not play this week when the Raiders host the New Orleans Saints. Earlier this week Fox Sports insider Jay Glazer reported that the Raiders initially thought that McFadden would be out 2-4 weeks while dealing with his high ankle sprain. He will not play this week and should be considered...
I'm trying to contain my confidence despite the fact that the Tampa Bay Bucs and Baltimore Ravens just poured 42 and 55 respectively on this Raiders defense. But when two decent offenses break the 40 barrier, you have to feel decent about the Saints doing it, right? On top of that, the Raiders' top two backs, Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson, aren't practicing as they...
