The great wide receiver chase continues for the Vikings, who would like to add another target for Donovan McNabb. The Vikings are out of the mix for Jets receiver Braylon Edwards, according to a person with direct knowledge of the situation, while that same person said "not right now" in regards to Packers receiver James Jones. That could mean the Packers are in control here after clearing almost $20 million in cap space for 2011. Looks like the Vikings are in a holding pattern until all the dominoes fall. Chargers receiver Malcom Floyd might still be in play here, but the Vikings want to be careful not to overspend for a No. 2 receiver. However, they might not have a choice while entering training camp without enough personnel to stretch the field. Stay tuned on this in the coming days, or hours. Meanwhile, rookie tight end Kyle made it official today and signed his contract, which is expected to be a four-year deal. Rudolph is presumably the first of the 10 Vikings...
