The Other Paper:
Braylon Edwards will be returning to the field dressed in New York Jets green once again tonight and it sounds like this won't be the only return engagement he will have coming up.
The wide receiver is being sued for child support again after fathering a second love child with yet another woman, according to Page Six of The New York Post.
Edwards — who was picked up on waivers by the Jets from the Seattle Seahawks — is being sued in Manhattan Family Court by the fashion blogger Ashton Whittington after she gave birth to a son 18 months ago.
The controversial and often-troubled NFL star — who tweeted that the Jets decision makers were "idiots" before rejoining the team — will make his repeat performance with Gang Green tonight against the Tennessee Titans.
It looks like Edwards doesn't learn from past experiences. He was already sued in 2010 by "America's Next Top Model" contestant Nik Pace with whom he had a son, Braylon Jr., now three years-old. And he was let go by the Jets after the 2010 season
Page Six reports that Edwards and Whittington had a relationship around the time he was arrested in September 2010 [for DWI], and she became pregnant.
They are no longer together and Edwards pays for interim child support, but Whittington is suing for a more formal child support agreement.
Pace was suing Edwards for child support in 2010 and he tried to have the case heard in Georgia, hoping to "pay less money," said the Post story. They later settled for much lower than Pace's reported $70,000-a-month demand.
In March, Edwards tweeted his devotion to his his most recent girlfriend Victoria Bow with these sweet words: "I will never let you down. You are my world ... My twin, my soul, my earth, my beginning and my end. Damn, I am on top of the world."
The Jets are a lot easier to romance. In his tweet to the team, Edwards had them at "idiots."

Rex Ryan’s body language as the seconds ticked off the New York Jets’ last gasp for a playoff shot said it all.
Ryan’s reckless use of foul language, the shoulder bump/check of his ailing quarterback Mark Sanchez, the half-hearted mid-field handshake with Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak and the pouty stomp off the field told us everything that we need to know.
The Jets have mercifully pulled the plug on Mark Sanchez.
On Tuesday, hours after being eliminated from postseason contention, New York announced that quarterback Greg McElroy will start in Week 16 versus the Chargers.
The move was first reported by the New York Daily News.
While now official, the news comes as a no brainer...
Is it time to play Tim Tebow, or is Greg McElroy the answer? One could only hope that Rex Ryan and the 6-8 New York Jets are ready to make a quarterback change after last nights devastating 14-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans that took the Jets out of playoff contention. The Titans intercepted four passes by struggling Jets QB Mark Sanchez – winning for the first time in [...]
Mark Sanchez blew the second chance Rex Ryan gave him. Now, it's Greg McElroy's turn to be the New York Jets' starting quarterback.
And, Tim Tebow? Well, he was leapfrogged by the third-stringer, fueling speculation that the team has little confidence in him as a quarterback.
Ryan decided to bench Sanchez on Tuesday after the fourth-year quarterback had another miserable...
With all the media scrutiny surrounding Tim Tebow throughout his NFL career, sometimes it’s hard to separate Tebow the person from Tebow the headline. Combine the oversaturation of all things Tebow with his overly positive persona, and it can be easy to forget Tebow’s feelings in this season’s Jets quarterback controversy.
Tebow feels misled by the Jets, according to Mike Freeman...
The New York Jets finally made a change at quarterback. Rex Ryan choose Greg McElroy over Tim Tebow for the spot.
”It’s my decision … and I’m choosing to go with Greg.”
It was a quote that went along with the Jets initial plans when they acquired Tebow in a trade with the Denver Broncos.
How messed up are the Jets? Ryan would not even comment on who would be the backup...
The Jets hit another new low on Monday night, with Mark Sanchez doing all he could to set the quarterback position back a generation or two. Apparently, the Jets have seen enough.

The latest rumors out of New York are that the Jets are leaning toward starting Greg McElroy at quarterback against San Diego in Week 16.Fantasy Spin:With the "talent" the Jets have are receiver, none of the Jets QB options (Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, McElroy) have much fantasy value.
The New York Jets (6-7) somehow still have a chance to make the playoffs. The Jets will travel to Tennessee to play against the Titans. (4-9) The game is scheduled for a 8:30 pm EST kickoff and will air on ESPN as Monday Night Football.

NASHVILLE Music City might be the home of country music, but the New York Jets departed here Monday night with a case of the blues.
Call them the playoff blues.
With their 14-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans at a sold-out and soggy LP Field, the Jets (6-8) saw their flickering playoff hopes extinguished in what turned out to be a comedy of errors for the visitors down the stretch...
The New York Jets’ playoff hopes ended in the most fitting way possible. Immediately after a shanked punt gave New York a great chance to come back and beat the Titans on “Monday Night Football,” the Jets turned the ball over on an embarrassing fumble.
The Jets were down 14-10 and had the ball at the Tennesse 25 with 47 seconds left in the game. Quarterback Mark Sanchez was...
Head coach Rex Ryan believes wide receiver Braylon Edwards and quarterback Tim Tebow will be available when the New York Jets play at the Tennessee Titans on Monday night. Edwards, signed this week, is refamiliarizing himself with the playbook while also dealing with a sore knee. "How much he'll play, we’ll see, but I'm optimistic he'll be ready for Monday...
