Breaking down all of the Chicago Bears confirmed meetings ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft

The 2024 NFL Draft is less than a month away and the Chicago Bears have been doing extensive research on a wide range of various prospects in the draft.

The Bears will only have four selections in the draft, barring any additional trades, including two selections in the Top-10 of the first round.

Caleb Williams is all but confirmed to be the Bears' top choice with the first overall pick and here is the rest of the list of confirmed meetings the Bears have had with other prospects. The list will be broken down into various draft ranges to get an idea of who the Bears could be targeting with each draft choice.

Options with the 9th Overall Pick

The Bears have covered all of the bases in regards to who the front office might consider selecting with the ninth overall pick. The top wide receiver trio in Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze have all met in Chicago. As has two of the top three edge rushers in Dallas Turner and Laiatu Latu. Brock Bowers, Joe Alt, Jared Verse, and Byron Murphy II all remain dark horses to be the Bears' ideal pick.

Trade Down Options (First Round)

These prospects have all be linked to the first round many times throughout the draft process, but to me seem like a reach for the ninth overall pick. With only four selections, many in the media have hypothesized that the Bears will trade down from the ninth overall pick. If that becomes a reality, these prospects would be on the radar. The number of offensive line prospects on this list is eye-opening to me with Chop Robinson and Xavier Worthy just being due diligence visits at their respective positions. In my mind, if the Bears trade back from nine, an offensive lineman will be selected.

Options on Day 2 (Second & Third Rounds)

The Bears currently do not have a pick in the second round and won't pick again until the 75th overall pick in the third round, so it's not a surprise to see this list come out a little shorter. Adisa Isaac and Kiran Amegadjie seem like locks to land in the second round, while Ben Sinnott and Brenden Rice seem like an ideal selections to go with in the third round if they are on the board. This pick could also be another trade down opportunity to secure more later round draft capital if general manager Ryan Poles chooses to do so.

Late Round Options (Fourth-Seventh Rounds)

This is the biggest list despite the Bears having only one selection during the final four rounds of the draft combined. Based on this list, the Bears' front office is expected a wide range of talent to be available with their final pick in the draft. Cam Hart, Dylan Laube, and Nehemiah Pritchett are my preferred prospects on this list, which could also include some potential undrafted free agents to look out for.
