The 0-8 Jacksonville Jaguars are back from their bye week, and they stand a half-decent chance of competing against a so-so division rival in Tennessee Sunday. Just in case they accidentally win, let's review just how bad the Jags have been thus far. Four figures: 1. The Jags have been outscored by 178 points. That, through only eight games, is the 74th-highest point differential in NFL history. They're on pace to allow 356 more points than they score. Only five teams in NFL history have been lower than 256 in that area, and nobody has ever hit the 300 mark.  2. The Jaguars have lost all eight of their games by double-digit margins. No team in NFL history has lost more than 12 games in that fashion. Even the winless 2008 Lions managed to get within 10 points in six of their losses, while the the 0-14 1976 Buccaneers did so on four occasions.  3. The Jags have scored a league-low 86 points, putting them on pace to score 172. Only five teams in NFL history have given up fewer than that over a 16-game season. They've also surrendered a league-high 264 points, putting them on pace to give up 528. Only the 1981 Baltimore Colts (533) have allowed more. 4. They've scored just seven offensive touchdowns in eight games. The Washington Redskins have scored five on defense and special teams in the same number of games.
