One of the best called plays Sunday night in the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-19 loss to the Denver Broncos was the 3rd down and goal touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger to tight end Heath Miller at the end of the first half.
Normally I like to telestrate plays, but the animated gif along with the still shots from the all-22 tape show you all you need to know about the play without me drawing on them. You can easily see how the space was created for Miller to score.

The Pittsburgh Steelers gambled on Mike Adams in the 2nd round of the draft, taking a chance on a guy who never lived up to lofty expectations at Ohio State and who failed a drug test at the combine.
So far, it’s a gamble that hasn’t paid off. Adams was forced into action when Marcus Gilbert went down with an injury early in the Steelers Sunday night loss in Denvar. One the third...
Jerricho Cotchery says he enjoys the ''family business'' approach the Pittsburgh Steelers take with their players, and has no regrets about how his tenure with the New York Jets ended last summer.
The veteran wide receiver spent his first seven NFL seasons with the Jets, but was cut last year in a move coach Rex Ryan said at the time Cotchery requested. Cotchery...

As much as Harrison wants to play, I’m not sure his knee will be healthy enough. He could end up being a game time decision.

Denver, CO. The regular season opener for the Denver Broncos was everything that any fan of the orange and blue could have wanted. Peyton Manning was back, and looked very similar to his old self. The defense showed some major play-making ability, with a few sacks and even an interception return for a TD when the game was on the line. The entire team looked focused and expecting...

The Denver Broncos are very glad they were able to convince CB Tracy Porter to sign with the team during the offseason. In his first game as a Bronco, Porter was...
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is gearing up for this Sunday's battle with the New York Jets. While Tomlin is preparing to defend New York's Wildcat offense, it appears NFL teams have gone to school on the once-vaunted attack.
According to a tweet from Cody Crouch, who, according to his Twitter profile, is a “helicopter photographer/reporter for the Denver Colorado TV news stations,” what you see above is perhaps the very first ode to new Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning in the medium of cornfield. Obviously, one member of the Colorado agriculture community is pumped up [...]

Coming off a 19-for-26 performance for 253 passing yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions in an impressive 31-19 victory over Pittsburgh, Denver quarterback Peyton Manning showed the football world last Sunday that while he might have been playing his first game in two seasons, he is no less dangerous a player.
On Monday night when he visits the Georgia...
