(Nuccio DiNuzzo/Chicago Tribune)[/caption] After suffering a neck injury on a big hit by Minnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffin in the second quarter of Sunday's game you could tell Chicago Bears' quaterback Jay Cutler wasn't comfortable. He battled through a neck injury in the game, but was eventually taken out of action on the Bears final drive down 21-7. Jason Campbell relieved him at quarterback and tossed a touchdown pass to Brandon Marshall to make the game 21-14. The Bears failed to recover the onside kick and the rest was history. After the game, Cutler had this to say regarding the injury. "It was neck related," he said via ESPNChicago.com. "I was getting spasms. I wasn't going to help anybody being out there." However on "The Jay Cutler Show" on Monday on ESPN 1000 he was confident he would suit up on Sunday against the first place Green Bay Packers. "I don't see why not. I don't have anything else to do," Cutler said on "The Jay Cutler Show" on ESPN1000. He also touched on his relationship with Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers. "Me and Aaron are certainly not best friends." When asked who is his best friend was, he said "Kristin is my BFF." On whether he will in fact be under center on Sunday. "Unless something drastic happens. Absolutely." Cutler gives the Bears a chance to win games week in and week out. This is a huge game for the Bears and Cutler won't miss it if he can control it. The Green Bay Packers against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field to decide the division. It doesn't get much better than that.   Jake Perper is the owner and head writer for Bearsbacker.com. Chicago Bears Lose Game, Perhaps the Season to the Vikings

Perhaps this loss to the Minnesota Vikings is endemic of Lovie Smith's career as a Chicago Bears head coach.  The defense played well, but gave up just enough to lose the game.  The offense showed promise, but never put up enough points to win the football game.   In this loss the full ugliness of Smith's tenure was on display with the defense giving up over 100 yards...

It’s Deja Vu All Over Again for the Chicago Bears

Injuries have played a role in the Bears recent struggles. But this version of the Bears yearly collapse has many other factors. Lack of a True Tight End Hurting the Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have very rarely been known for their offense throughout the history of the NFL.  The Chicago Bears have always been a franchise known for their defensive prowess and superstars.  The 2012 season has been no different for the Bears.
