Favre is barely in the top 10 best of all time. People are just so in love with him, they overrate him on the field. He won a super bowl 11 years ago. And though he is the all time leader in TD's he is also the leader in INTs. 2-3 in his last five home games in the playoffs and 18 INTs in his last 9 playoff games. To me, this is not the "greatest" of all time. The greatest, performed great when on the big stage. Favre performed great 1 time on the big stage in his career. The second he got there, he lost and never played good enough to get back. I'm glad he's done, so sick of eveyone slurping him.

During ESPN's latest, most grotesque anointing of an overpaid human who plays a game, Favre fell somewhere between Mother Teresa and Father Time after he announced his retirement. He is not the best QB of all time. Most loved by the media? Yes. Most passionate? OK. Best stubble? No doubt.

Don't tell John Madden this. Well at least he still has Hines Ward to gush about every broadcast.
