Though it remains to be seen which highly-touted quarterback -- Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III -- will have the better pro career, one guy who knows a thing or two about the position made his preference known.
(And don't worry, he remains happily retired.)
During a celebrity game in Chicago, Brett Favre told NFL Network's Deion Sanders that he would take RGIII over Luck, and gave an interesting (yet succinct) explanation as to why.
"Griffin, he's smaller, but if I was starting a team, I'd probably of went with RG3 just because, if they can't protect you, you got to protect yourself," Favre said, via NFL.com.
Favre raises a good point. While Luck is said to be the better prototypical passer, Griffin is absolutely lethal outside the pocket, using his Michael Vick-like ability to keep plays alive and break games wide open.
