Brian Cushing in the hospital dealing with a minor illness

AP Photo According to KHOU.com, Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing was hospitalized overnight for a minor illness. “Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing spent the night in the hospital with a virus the team describes as “minor.” “Cushing became ill Tuesday night and Coach Gary Kubiak said they decided to put him in the hospital, instead of sending him home,” wrote KHOU.com “Cush is sick, that’s why he’s not out here,” said Texans head coach Gary Kubiak.  “He’s got a little virus. Got sick on us last night and spent the night in the hospital. It was really a matter of not sending him home. His wife, he can go home and get her sick, and it was late at night when he had got sick on us, so we just gave him a room down the street and had him get a good night’s rest and get him started toward his recovery.”
