A couple of weeks ago, Houston Texans owner Bob McNair indicated that linebacker Brian Cushing is ahead of schedule as he continues to rehab from ACL surgery. Cushing was a guest on Texans Radio and said that he’s about a week away from jogging again. “It’s been a long, long journey & I still have a lot to go, but it just makes me cherish playing that much more.  I’m about a week out of jogging right now. Really looking forward to that.” Even if Cushing is ahead of schedule I’m sure he won’t take part in any mini camps or OTA’s this offseason.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s also limited once training camp opens up.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('...

The Texans Need More Edge

If you think about it, there are now only a handful of Texans’ players that could possibly fit the mold we are talking about, that bad guy, but in a good way. The player that plays with the reckless abandon and doesn’t care what the other team or his teammates think. The guy that might seem a little bit crazy on the football field, the one that gives an identity to a football...

Texans will never win Super Bowl with Matt Schaub

That’s right; I said it. The Houston Texans will never win a Super Bowl with Matt Schaub. Before you pass judgment on me; I want to show you facts and statistics. And I’m not a Matt Schaub hater. Hater implies I’m jealous of Schaub’s success, and that could be further from the truth. I believe Schaub is a capable quarterback in the NFL, but he’s not a franchise quarterback...

5 Free Agents The Houston Texans Should Target This Offseason

The Houston Texans started out the 2012 NFL season with such promise and dominance, quickly becoming the darlings of the NFL. Houston started out of the gates fast, quickly racking up an 11-1 record on the way to becoming the odds on favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. All the momentum the Texans were riding changed for the worse when the New England Patriots handed...

Arian Foster Punched a Guy in the Face on Hawaii Five-O This Week (Video)

So apparently Arian Foster of the Houston Texans was on Hawaii Five-O this week, and punched a guy in the face.  Didn't watch the episode, but word is Foster was pounding some drinks at the bar by himself and ended up punching a guy in the face that was arguing with a hooker. So then Scott Caan and Taller McAveragehight went to question Foster at Pro Bowl practice. Pro...

Arian Foster's Acting Debut on Hawaii Five-O

Most guys went to the Pro Bowl to 'play' in a football game while enjoying one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Houston Texans running back Arian Foster got to do a little bit more than that. The heart of the Texans offense got a small part in the hit show Hawaii Five-O, and the episode aired last night. They didn't ask him to reinvent the world of acting of...
