CHARLOTTE, NC - SEPTEMBER 14: Brian Urlacher #54 of the Chicago Bears gestures during the game against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium on September 14, 2008 in Charlotte, North Carolina. (Photo by Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)
Brian Urlacher has seen his Chicago Bears lose their last 3 games and 4 out of their last 5. Urlacher has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and has apparently been paying a lot more attention to the media and the fans. CT - Appearing Sunday night with sports anchor Lou Canellis on WFLD-Ch. 32, Urlacher bristled when told that fans and the media were being critical of Smith. "Two of the people I don't care about: fans or media," Urlacher said. "They can say what they want to about our head coach, about our players. ... It does bother me. They don't know what they're talking about, obviously. "I know there are a lot of experts in the media, a bunch of smart guys out there who know exactly what they're talking about all the time. They don't know what they're talking about. Lovie is the head coach of this football team and hopefully will be for a long time." Urlacher wasn’t done. "Our crowd was pretty good today for the most part. They were loud for a minute there, the boos were really loud, which is always nice," Urlacher said. "The only team in our division that gets booed at home is us. It's unbelievable to me. "Believe it, don't believe it, we don't care. We're going to go out there and play as hard as we can. The guys that are healthy will play and we'll do the best we can." The one thing about these comments is the fact that they are losing.  Yes, fans and media can be a *****, but if you win, everything is fine.  Sometimes pro athletes have to man up and admit that they are sucking.  Sadly for the coach, sucking falls strait on the coaches shoulders like it should.  Lovie Smith has all the talent in the world on his team and they are falling out of playoff contention.  That's why these guys get paid millions of dollars. To WIN.  Get over yourself Urlacher. Check out our Home Page for more stories and follow us on Twitter and Facebook
