Brian Westbrook is returning to Philadelphia, but not to play for the Philadelphia Eagles.  The fan favorite and Villanova standout is joining 610 WIP and will host a radio show. WIP has been in the news quite a bit since Howard Eskin announced he would soon be giving up his daily show. Former WIP host Hugh Douglas has joined ESPN, so Westbrook will be sliding in to fill that void. I really am surprised that Westbrook could not find a home, but then again I look around the league and I should not be that shocked.  Randy Moss and Terrell Owens, both players who I believe who can still play at a high level, are not on NFL teams.  Regardless, Westbrook is back where he belongs, which is in the city of brotherly love.

  • Glad to hear BWest will be on WIP.
  • Welcome back Brian - we love you!!
  • This doesn't surprise me one bit. It's good to see when an athlete that handles himself the right way on and off the field has good things happen to him.
