Brimful of Asher

The big headline coming across the Viking wires today is, “Asher Allen Signs Four-Year Contract.”  That leaves only Phil Loadholt and Percy Harvin left to sign from among this year’s draft class.  Camp is still a week away so there’s plenty of time to get those two inked before the pads go on. By the way, it’s also being reported that Antoine Winfield’s contract negotiations have ground back into motion, meaning there’s a chance Winfield could have his sought-after extension in time for camp.  Oh, and today’s Thursday, which means there’s only one more day for that “Brett Favre Will Make His Decision by Friday” story to be true.  I’m feeling like we’re going to have to wait longer than that.  Just a hunch based on months of Favre reports being wronger than a Pat Buchanan racist tirade.
