Running back Knowshon Moreno had a big night. Big Pete provides some post-game thoughts on tonight’s game… Has a complete and utter domination by one team over another had such a close score? This felt like a 50-7 football game, yet there we were, giving the Raiders hope when there really was none. Like I said in my nit-pick article, we need to crush the souls of our opponents, not let them linger around only to eek out a win. I know this wasn’t a nail-biting win, but c’mon man! We should have won by 40! Is a win a win? Sure, but we need to make a statement! We need to beat Oakland down so bad that even the Ravens get sore! Again, while we completely DESTROYED the Raiders, the score was way, way too close! Knowshon is a real asset, just not in the short yardage game. I mean, 120 rushing yards, and 50 more in the air is one hell of a performance; one that McGahee hasn’t given us in a long, long time! Moreno is running with more patience, and he’s an excellent pass catching RB. While...

Are Broncos playing down to their opponents?

Big Pete of the comments has a guest piece for your reading pleasure this morning. Thanks Pete for volunteering to do this! Let him know what you think in the comments! Since earlier in the week seemed to be “Nit-Pick Day”, here is a list of the things I nit-pick the Broncos about. #1. We seem to always play down to our opponent’s level. What is it with the Broncos for the...

Broncos Injury Report: Brandon Stokley, Robert Ayers, Wesley Woodyard

The Denver Broncos are fairly healthy for tonight’s contest against the Oakland Raiders, as several regulars, including wide receiver Brandon Stokley and defensive lineman Robert Ayers are questionable and probable to play. The only player doubtful on the team’s injury report is linebacker Wesley Woodyard. Woodyard sustained a sprained ankle during last weekend’s win...

Raiders continue to lose this time to Peyton Manning and the Broncos

But once again, the Raiders failed to hold on and took another loss 26-13. The Broncos set the stage from the start as they moved quickly down the field...

State of the AFC West: Week 14 Edition

I gotta be honest, Raider Nation. I’m running out of things to talk about, report, and analyze in the AFC West. It’s pretty simple, really. The Denver Broncos are good. The Chargers, Chiefs, and Raiders are not. The Broncos clinched the division title this past weekend and now set their sights on a 2 or 3 seed in the playoffs. The [...]

Sometimes A Great Knowshon

Don’t worry, this isn’t an American Literature class.  I won’t be quoting Ken Kesey to you and expecting you to get the reference.  Namely because I never read it, though I’m sure I should’ve after treating wikipedia like my personal cliff’s notes.  But it is a great way to introduce a guy that we here at Razzball have been all over since day one, nay day zero.  It...
