Peyton Manning tossed a touchdown pass, Knowshon Moreno ran for a score and the surging Broncos won their ninth straight game with a 34-17 thumping of the Ravens.
Manning, who has won each of his past nine starts against Baltimore, including two playoff meetings, threw for 204 yards on 17-of-28 efficiency for Denver (11-3), which is in the midst of its longest winning streak since the 1998 squad won their first 13 contests en route to the team's second consecutive Super Bowl.
Moreno carried the ball 22 times for 118 yards, Eric Decker caught eight passes for 133 yards and a score and Chris Harris returned an interception 98 yards for a touchdown in the triumph.
Following last Sunday's 31-28 overtime setback to the Washington Redskins, the Ravens fired offensive coordinator Cam Cameron a day later and elevated quarterbacks coach and one of Manning's mentors, Jim Caldwell, to the post.
Baltimore (9-5), which has lost three straight contests, registered three-and- outs on each of its first five possessions and didn't record its initial first down until Bernard Pierce broke off a 14-yard run on a 2nd-and-6 at the 8:12 mark of the second quarter.

Yesterday, I watched in awe as the Denver Broncos dismantled the Baltimore Ravens 34-17 in Baltimore. And the game wasn’t as close as the score would indicate. With their ninth straight victory, this one against one of the best AFC teams, the Broncos are becoming an NFL powerhouse.
The Broncos dominated the first half building a 10-0 lead. It was only because of the exceptional...
The Denver Broncos are arguably the hottest team in the NFL right now and head coach John Fox has made it clear that he doesn’t plan on resting any of his starters as we approach the playoffs and that includes quarterback Peyton Manning.
“That has not been an option, and not something that we’ll talk about,” Fox said, per USA Today Sports. “Right now, our main agenda is...
With the NFL entering its final two weeks, the MVP race is coming into clear focus.
Most of the attention right now is on the ever-present duo of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, with Adrian Peterson running in third place. So which one do you think should take home the hardware?
That’s the question that NESN Daily posed to Matt Chatham and Jeff Howe, who debated the issue on opposing...
(Eds: APNewsNow. With AP Photos.) By ARNIE STAPLETON AP Pro Football Writer Eric Decker was the first of Peyton Manning's workout buddies, sneaking onto high school football fields in the spring to work on his rhythm and rapport with his new quarterback.
The sessions helped Manning regain his arm strength and rediscover his old form after a series of neck operations that sidelined...
This week playoff races usually start to sort themselves out as teams are able to establish themselves late in the season. This season is a little different as this Sunday only made the playoff picture even cloudier. Dallas, Washington, Minnesota, and Seattle all helped their cause while the Giants, Steelers and Bears put themselves in very intriguing positions. The race for...
HO HO HO! Merry Christmas everybody. This is the season for football, and what a marvelous season it has been so far. We have seen many things this 2012 season. It started with Bounty Gate and replacement refs, to field goals and touchdowns that weren't, to quarterback controversies, to the return of Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson (who both are top contenders for MVP and Comeback...

The 2012 NFL season is just about said and done with, but as we head into the playoffs and look back at the first 14 weeks that were, we’re set to make our NFL picks for which players have had the biggest impacts on their teams that spent big bucks on them in the offseason.
Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos – It goes without saying that Manning was the...

On a day when a Baltimore defense inundated with injury was able to give Peyton Manning everything he could handle and more, the Ravens offense did not show up like the cavalry they were supposed to be. In fact, Flacco and company gave points away to Denver. It was a disgraceful performance.
It wasn't all on Joe Flacco, although Joe admitted after the game the pick-6 he...
Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno displayed his athleticism by hurdling right over Baltimore Ravens safety (and future NFL Hall of Famer) Ed Reed during Sunday's NFL game at M&T Bank Stadium.
As of this writing, Moreno has 13 rushes for 74 yards, including that impressive run.

Shannon Smallwood posted an article in Rant Sports recently suggesting that Aaron Murray is Peyton Manning 2.0.
Think about these statements made over the years…(FILL IN THE BLANK) can’t win the big game.(FILL IN THE BLANK) makes too many mistakes.(FILL IN THE BLANK) makes poor decisions in big games.Starting to buy into it now aren’t you…

You’d think it was Peyton Manning and the Colts out there with the season on the line. It wasn’t. It was the 49ers in a late-season slugfest, in a game the Patriots had no business winning but had somehow fought their way back into.
So why are people upset that Bill Belichick went for it on 4th-and-1?
The 4th-and-1 in the final minutes of the Patriots’ loss to the 49ers on...
Peyton Manning. Tom Brady. Aaron Rodgers. All of these quarterbacks have claimed MVP awards since the last running back – LaDainian Tomlinson – took home the honor in 2006. In what is largely considered a passing league, is 2012 the year this streak ends? Through 15 weeks of the season I am inclined to say yes. Because truly no player has been as valuable as Minnesota Vikings’...
