The Denver Broncos have told running back Correll Buckhalter he is being released Tuesday.Buckhalter was set to earn $1.92 million primarily as a second- or third-string running back this coming season.The 32-year-old dressed for 15 games last season but set career lows with just 59 carries for 147 yards and two touchdowns.The eight-year NFL veteran spent his first five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles before joining the Broncos in 2009.
