The Denver Broncos have re-signed tight end Dante Rosario to provide insurance for their injury-battered offense.Rosario was one of the Broncos' final cuts in the preseason. The 26-year-old signed on with the Miami Dolphins, but failed to register a catch in two games with the club and was released Tuesday.Rosario will step in for rookie Julius Thomas, who is expected to miss the next few weeks with a high ankle sprain.A fifth-round pick of Carolina in 2007, Rosario appeared in 62 games with the Panthers before being let go following the 2010 campaign. He signed on with Denver in the offseason.To make room for Rosario on the roster, the Broncos released rookie linebacker Mike Mohamed.
