The Denver Broncos have re-signed TE Dante Rosario and placed him on the 53 man roster this week. With fellow rookie TE Julius Thomas expected to be out for another 3 weeks, the Broncos were practicing with only two tight ends. Then when the Miami Dolphins released Rosario, the Broncos changed their plans and decided to re-unite Rosario and coach John Fox. The pair had been together for the last 4 years in Carolina and during this years preseason before the Broncos decided to cut Rosario.
“For me, it’s just about playing. It’s getting the opportunity, so if I end up here, that would be great. I mean, Denver’s where I wanted to be from the beginning,” Rosario said. “If it’s not here, then hopefully my performance on the field will prove to teams that I can play, and I’ll get an opportunity somewhere else if not here.”
